Review by hotel critic
Nestled in a quieter part of Kyoto, the hotel offers a surprising blend of value and comfort for travelers. During my work trip, I found the overall price to be a steal compared to similar accommodations. The room I booked was notably larger, featuring two single beds, a sofa, and a spacious shower area—the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploration. Housekeeping was meticulous, ensuring everything from the electric kettle to the free toiletries was in place. The air conditioning was a welcomed touch, especially in the July heat, smoothly making for a comfortable environment. Plus, it boasts a friendly staff, who had thoughtfully chilled my room before my arrival—something that can often be overlooked in hospitality. The location is another gem; just a leisurely stroll away from Kyoto's vibrant shopping streets and the serene Kamogawa River. It’s all about balancing luxury with practicality here, proving that thoughtful amenities can elevate a stay without breaking the bank.
